Don’t you just love product launches?  Not for the junk mail filling up your inbox, not for the long form sales pages and certainly not for all the hype.  No the things that I love about product launches is the free software that is increasingly being given away as a way to build excitement in the launch.

Just this week Michelle Macpherson has released a great piece of software called “Free Rank Decoder” in the run up her launch of Crowd Mountain 2.0.  This software has two functions, the first is to find the most effective web 2.0 backlinks and the second is to find the best available backlinks to you own specific niche.  This simple sounding idea is actually a VERY powerful tool which should be every marketer’s tool-kit.
