How to get free in-text backlinks
Backlinks, the lifeblood of all websites, are not all created equal. In the eyes of google some backlinks are ‘more valuable’ than others. For instance, backlinks from bookmarking pages don’t carry the same weight as links from a PR5 website. Sidebar links are not as meaty as an in-text link, and so on.
So ideally when you are looking for link placement you want it in-text and preferably on a high PR website or blog.
Finding a high PR blog, with Do-follow isn’t that difficult using software like Fast Blog Finder, but persuading the blog master to place your link into the body of his post can be challenging.
For this reason there are services like Article Underground, which essentially provide pre-written content for blog authors which already have your back link embedded into the body of text. And the service is brilliant. A single AU link can make the difference between having your site doomed to page two of Google’s listings and basking in the glory of page one. But…
Article Underground is quite expensive. When you’re an established internet marketer, the fee will seem like nothing because of the vale the service provides. But when you’ve a newbie to affiliate marketing then $97 can seem like a ridiculous amount to lay out every month.
Luckily there is another similar service which is free.to sign up to and use. ‘Free-Traffic System‘ has a huge network of blogs whose owners all accept well written articles with up to two links included in the text.
The way the service works is:
You provide a well written article of at least 300 words in a format suitable for spinning. Ie [spin] text here|different text here|yet more text[/spin] You also add a spinnable tittle, a single tag and a list of keywords and URLs you would like to link to.
Then you get to choose 30 blogs you would like you spun article to appear on.
When the article gets posted the software randomly picks one of the keywords you entered as anchor text and then chooses one of your URL’s as the link.
It’s all very simple and VERY effective.
After the spun articles have been poste
d to the blogs you will have 30 in-text links plus another 30 links in the pages that were created for your tag. So 60 backlinks with different anchor text. Brilliant!
Now here’s the good part. If you go to the trouble of writing an article of at least 450 words you get another in-text link, another set of keywords and another set of URLs. Effectively doubling you backlinks with a variety of anchor text. This is great to include some deep-linking into your site.
It doesn’t stop there either. If you add one of your own blogs to the network you get a bonus 7% extra links. So for a 500 word article, instead of being awarded 160 backlinks you will get 171!
I can’t recommend this service enough. It’s efficient, it’s targeted and it’s free.
They also run a paid service, which gives lots of extra benefits such as the use of three included links in the article, up to 5 tags and insertion into 50 blogs. A quick bit of math shows that for a single article you could get 802 backlinks and all of them with different, useful anchor text.
If you haven’t tried Free-Traffic System than I urge you to dive over right now and check it out.

I’m always looking for good free ways of getting backlinks with a minimum of effort, the Free-Traffic system sounds like an excellent way of doing just that and I will certainly be signing up.

I currently use FTS but have not taken advantage of it to the extent that your article indicates is possible.
I will however, remind you that FTS only takes WordPress blogs. If your blog is with any other system you are doomed!
I also see that you are using ConnentLub Enabled. Have you tried the Comment Warning? Where you delete the original plugin message and replace it with the one in the Video? If you have, how do you check to see that it is working?
Thanks for the excellent copy.

Hi Pat,
I really like FTS, but you are right, if you want to publish the free content from FTS then you have to have a blog powered by wordpress. Anyone can use it to submit articles and get links though.
I’ve not tried Comment Warning, I shall download it and give it a try. Thanks for the tip.
