Free PLR Management System
PLR Dashboard
If you’re anything like me than you have hundreds, or more likely thousands of random PLR articles scattered about your hard drives. I would be willing to bet that you even have complete collections that you never got around to unzipping.
So what do you intend to do with them? They are not much use to you if you don’t know where they all are, or even what they all are.
I pondered this question for ages and even though about setting up a database of all articles and adding tags so I could sort them and search for items suitable for particular niches. But, to be honest, that seemed like far too much trouble. So I started hunting round the Internet for a piece of software that would do that for me.
I came across a few, and even bought one – The Ultimate PLR Collection, by James Jones. Whilst this is a great program, and comes with loads of stuff including a massive PLR collection and ebook creator built in, unfortunately it doesn’t yet have the ability to import your own PLR collection. (Having said that though, if you don’t already own a PLR library then you would be hard pushed to beat the value and quantity of PLR articles offered by ‘The Ultimate PLR Collection‘!)
Then, I had a stroke of good luck. I was searching for something else, and sitting there nestled amongst Google’s search results was a piece of software that grabbed my attention.
PLR Dashboard organizes and manages all of your private label rights content, PLR articles, ebooks, software, and membership
That sounded like exactly what I was looking for, but I didn’t want to get my hopes up too high only to have them dashed again.
So I clicked on the link, entered my e-mail and downloaded the software, moved a couple of files into a new folder and gave PLR Dashboard a bit of a workout.
What can I say… other than, PERFECT.
It does everything I wanted and a lot of other things that I hadn’t even realised I wanted!
When you first open up the package you are prompted to enter details of any PLR clubs or other sources of PLR that you may belong to, how much you pay, your user name and whereabouts on your computer you store your downloaded PLR files.
As I mentioned earlier, I had stuff stored all over my PC, in folders that I had sort of organized into niches and in files still to be unzipped and in my massive Niche Empires directory. It was a mess. If I had a vague recollection of a file I wanted to use, I had absolutely no idea where it was.
So, I created a new folder, gave it a name (PLR Store), and then started to systematically move, unzip, unRAR and generally sort every piece of PLR I owned into this one master folder.
I didn’t worry about tags, or sub-folders or any other fancy filing system. It all went into one folder.
Then I told PLR Dashboard the path to the new folder and gave it a name.
Here’s where the real magic of this software kicks in. I clicked on the search button and as you would expect a search box pops up. You can choose if you want to search just files names or search all of the content for your keywords, you can even drill down and search through certain types of files, txt, pdf, doc, exe, mp3, htm, html, php or just leave it set to search everything. Using this function can speed up your searches.
Next put in a keyword related to your niche and hit find. It rummages through all of your content and returns each document containing your keyword.
The surprising thing for me was how fast it completed its task. It is lightening fast, I mean it absolutely whizzes along. In fact, I thought that it must be missing some results, so I created a file and put in a couple of made up words and then searched for them. Sure enough it found them with no problems.
Now you have the option to either double click to open a file, or check each useful file and save them to a new location, while still leaving the originals intact. You can choose to do this one at a time or copy a bundle all at once.
Other features include master password, back-up and restore and lastly, but to a lot of us, vitally important…
PLR Dashboard is totally free! I kid you not. It is completely free!
I can’t sing the praises of this software enough. It does everything I wanted, it is a delight to use… and did I mention that it is free?
If you have masses of PLR clogging up your systems then download PLR Dashboard right now and take it for a run.
