The Easy Backlinks Experiment results are a bit disappointing this week.

But on the bright side, I have added yet another tool to the mix. Who would have thought that there were so many free or low cost backlinking tools available.

This weeks new tool is called ‘Blast-o-matic’ and claims to get your link published on 12 million sites! Yes you read that right, 12 million.

From the main Blast-o-matic site; “By using Blast-O-Matic you will literally be creating millions of links pointing to your website – automatically! This can greatly help increase your site popularity and help you to get a much better ranking in the search engines. The more you use Blast-O-Matic, the more links pointing to your website are created!”

If the system is as good as they claim then it may be the best free tool ever!

However, (there always seems to be an ‘however’ doesn’t there?) after the confirmation e-mail I got from the Blast-o-matic guys I think I might reserve the use of this tool to some of my Cash ‘n’ Burn sites, you know, the ones that make fast cash and then burn up. The email said ‘Before you process your submission, we want to make sure you understand the magnitude this campaign can have. You are submitting 12 million ads. The email address you use will get resold a million times and the amount of email it gets over time will be crushing. However, the same email address will be receiving important Verification requests and you must verify or most of your submissions will fail. Did you know you can increase your results by 400% if you set up a capture and automated email system to respond back to the autoresponders that these types of submissions set-off? If you are not prepared, you might be a little overwhelmed and even fail with your efforts. If you are prepared, the results can be spectacular!’

Hmm, scary stuff.  I think as well as reporting the results for this tool, I will also keep you up to speed on the junk mail situation as well.

Anyway, onto this weeks results.  As I mentioned earlier they are slightly disappointing in that links are disappearing pretty quickly. The best performing tools, Free Traffic System and Mass Article Submitter are leaking links quicker than a dam with a hole in it and even Bookmarking Demon 5 has slowed down to a halt.

I’m beginning to wonder if there will be any active links at all at the end of the 3 month experiment.
