Easy Backlinks Experiment – Update 1

I just wanted to post the first weeks results for my easy backlinking experiment and also to mention the site which is part of the experient, but I accidentaly omited from my post!
The site is called Free Site Scripts and as the name suggests it is a collection of free scripts which offer various functions and tools for us webmasters.
The script we are interested in is the site submitter. You add your url into the box and click ‘Submit Query’ . That will post your url to 100 sites. When that is completed you go to page two and do it again, that submits your url to another 100 sites. You carry on in the same way through eight submission pages which will, in theory, give you around 730 backlinks.
Anyway, onto the results.
At the end of the first week only Magic Article Submitter and Free Traffic System have managed to get any backlinks. Magic Article Submitter has 7 links and Free Traffic System has 5. All of these links are either page rank ’0′ or ‘n/a’.

This is a very interesting back link experiment. I signed up Free Traffic System. I haven’t used it yet, but it looks like an interesting way to get traffic and back links. Back links are great but traffic is what converts. I know if you get more back links it will help your rise to page on of Google, but nothing wrong with getting traffic from people who just happen upon one of your article or blog post and then all the sudden need your product or service.
Can’t wait to see these results.

This looks pretty interesting. I’m hoping to eliminate as much article marketing as I can and hope your experiment will reveal a nugget or two in this regard.

I’m may also run the same type of experiment with some of the more expensive tools out there. Although a few of them do seem a bit ‘blackhat’ or maybe ‘greyhat’!
I can’t wait to get my hands on the full version of Linkbuilder Pro when it comes out. As soon as it’s out I will add it to the experiment. (But on a web 2.0 site – not the blog)

I agree completely, traffic is king.
Free Traffic System can seem a bit confusing at first, mainly because there is no PDF manual, all the training is via video. Great, until you want to look up a small detail, then you have to wade through a video to find it. Other than that though it is brilliant.
Have you tried Google Adwords image adds? It is VERY cheap and does drive traffic to your site. Although I must say that the traffic isn’t very targeted, but there is a LOT of it!

That’s for a broad search, backlinker professional can be found just by typing “backlinker” into Google. I think you will see the value of my software and I don’t charge much for it.
