I found a great site which allows you to easily add your own link to other people’s videos on YouTube. You can then get the embed code and add the video, complete with your own link to a website or blog.

The site is called LinkedTube and you can get to it here… http://www.linkedtube.com/

It is really simple to use, and more importantly… It works!

Here’s one I made earlier…

I added the ‘Real Review’ text and the button that says ‘More Info’.

I posted a link to a free download yesterday of a new link getting plugin called Deep Linking Engine.

This is being released as an introduction to Auto Content Cash, a new fully automatic blogging system from Brian G Johnson and Alex Goad.

However…

There was have been a few people struggling with the settup of the plugin. So Brian has kindly created a video to show exactly how to set up Deep Linking Engine and how to use it most effectively.

I’m just trying a new plugin which promises to gather backlinks to the deepest part of your site almost automatically.

It does this by analysing each new post you write thennipping off into the webisphere and finding relevant blogs.  You get to choose which tags you want the plugin to use for the blog search and then you get to choose which blogs that you want to link.

By linking to these other blogs we send a “pingback” notifying their blog’s software that we referrenced them on our website.

It takes time, but deep linking to your site is one of the best ways to maintain rankings.  Google likes to see links to lots of pages on your site, not just the main page.

The best thing about this software is that it is completely free.  Although, I’m not sure how long it will stay free for.

As Soggy says in his post, don’t overdo it with any type of backlinking strategy.  Spread your links across articles, videos, blogs, forums and web 2.0 sites.  You need it to look natural.  I have noticed that Bing seems particularly suspicious of agressive backlinking.
