How to create a list – Step by Step Video

We all know that ‘The money is in the list’. We’ve heard it a thousand times, and if you’re in any doubt that it is true, then just ask yourself how the Mike Filsaime’s and Ed Dale’s of this world got to be as wealthy as they are?

But how do you get a list? Where do you start?

Wouldn’t it be good if one of the ‘Guru’s’ took 30 minutes out of his day and created a free video showing us exactly how to start a list?

Well that’s exactly what Adeel Chowdhry has done.

This video starts right at the beginning and demonstates how to set up a squeeze page and a download page, how to upload them, where to promote them and how to grow your list really quickly.

He even lets us give the video away as a free product to start our own list!

I have to applaude Adeel for taking the time to give something back, and to give something that you don’t even need to opt into or buy!

Watch the video and then download the squeeze page and product to give away by hitting the link below the video. You don’t need to opt into my list to get it! (But, if you would like to sign up then please feel free to do so.  There’s lots of great stuff in the newsletter and some excellent bribes… er, I mean free gifts :-D , just for adding your name! )

This is the perfect oportunity to learn from a real expert and then take some action and start your own list.

Download the video and squeeze page from here.

Adeel Chowdhry, Bobby Walker and Jeff Schwerdt will be releasing Viral Submitter Pro on May 4th  for more information click here

Calculate potential Adsense income.

I wouldn’t normally ‘rip-off’ a post I’d seen on someone else’s site. But I’m a real numbers guy and this post on The Keyword Academy made me get my calculator out before I’d even finished reading it!

So what’s it about?

Basically it’s a simple calculation which could help you work out your potential income from an adsense site.

Now, there are NO hard and fast rules to this stuff, there is NO calculation which is totally accurate, but it is nice to have some sort of rough guide BEFORE you build a new adsense site.

I’ve also added some ideas on where to find high paying Adwords ads and I’ve created a simple spreadsheet to drop the numbers into.

So this is how to work out your potential Adsense earnings before building your site.

Nip over to Spyfu and grab the list of top 100 keywords by ‘Highest Cost Per Click’ then go over to the google keywords tool.

We want to find the amount of global searches for each of the words on our list. We don’t (necessarily) want to get suggestions for new words. So, make sure that you click on the ‘Previous Interface’

And then Edit where the results are tailored for – we want All countries and territories.

Next click on ‘Filter my results’ and check the ‘Don’t show ideas for new keywords. I only want to see data about the keywords I entered’ and un-check the ‘Use synonyms’ box.

Close the options up and paste your word list into the box (one word or phrase per line) and click the get ideas button.

Now export the results in .CSV (for Excel) format and open them up.

Copy and paste each column into this simple, free spreadsheet I created.

Download Free Spreadsheet

The sheet takes the figures and works out for each keyword what the top advertiser is prepared to spend, and of that money, how much the first site on google’s search page for that keyword could make.  It also works out potentially how many clicks the first site could get on the ad as well.

As I said, this isn’t hard and fast and there are a lot of other factors to consider. But hopefully it should give you an indication if it is worth the effort to build a site for a given keyword.

Thanks to Court for the original post. If you haven’t visited to The Keyword Academy I suggest you go there and have a look.
