Free Squeeze Page Generator Plugin
this is just a quick post to tell you about a new free plugin I’ve just had an e-mail about. It’s called the Authority Squeeze Generator plugin and it is to promote a new product by Alex Goad and Bryan McConnahea.
I haven’t really had a look at the product that is being sold, however the plugin looks great.
A lot of these Guru guys are offering free software as an appetizer for their package, and a lot of it is pretty good (if you wanted to show how good your product was, would you give away something crap as a loss leader?)
Anyway, here is the bumph off their page, and you will have to opt-in to get the free squeeze page generator.

Free Social Bookmarking Tool – SocialAdr
Free Social Bookmarking Tool
We know how useful social bookmarking can be, for instance when you have just created a new post, there is very little that will get Google to sit up and take notice as quickly as firing off the URL to half a dozen social bookmarking sites.
However, we also know how time consuming and tedious social bookmarking can be. Even using a free social bookmarking tool like ‘Share This’, the time spent logging into all those bookmarking websites is time that could be better spent writing a new post, creating a new product or building a new website.
So when something new comes along, which claims to take away all the tedium of bookmarking, and do it automatically. Then that Read the rest of this entry »
Decoding Base 64 in WordPress footers
It really upsets me when I download a WordPress theme and find that the footer is encoded in Base 64. For one, I don’t know what that code is doing to my machine, and two, I like to edit my footers and insert
an affiliate link to whichever host that particular site lives on.
I have no problem at all with leaving credit and a backlink to the developer, after all that is the reason they have developed the theme. But I object massively to having the footer taken away from me.
Now, as I see it, there are three options when we find a theme with a footer encoded with Base 64;
- Just put up with it. Live with the inconvenience (and possible keyloggers/virus/phishing devices) and use the theme anyway.
- Delete the theme. If everyone boycots Base 64 encoded wordpress themes then the authors would looses interest in writing them pretty quickly.
- Decode the footer and edit it. Ok, I know that this sounds a bit scary if your not used to playing about with code. But there are some great tools knocking about which can help you.
One of my favourites is Read the rest of this entry »
Every 3 seconds, a lonely blog commits suicide
Okay, maybe that’s a slight exageration, but just look around, blogs are sloping off, into long forgotten, dark corners of the web and just fading out of existence at an astronomicalrate. Henceforth we can refer to these as Suicidal Blogs!
Why?
Well, lets’s face it, blog writers (me included) are fickle, all we care about is becoming popular (and rich
).
If the blog they write doesn’t reap traffic in the the way they expect it to, they tend to neglect it, sometimes to the point it can’t Read the rest of this entry »
Easy Backlinks Experiment – Update 4
The end of week three of the easy backlinks experiment is throwing up a couple of odd results.
But first I wanted to mention that I’ve added a new tool to the test. It’s called Quick Back Links Generator and it is available from BlackHatMoneyMaker.com
It’s another simple tool which just requires you to edit an included txt file by adding the URL of your site.
There are a lot of lines of text to edit, so use the ‘find and replace’ function of notepad. Then just load the file into the program and hit submit. It fires your links at each site on the list and takes around 2 seconds per link – so I suggest leaving it running overnight.
After the run completed it reported that I had 380 backlink submissions, so there are a LOT of failures. (But 380 successes!)
Ok. On to the results of the experiment, at the end of week 3 the table looks like this. Read the rest of this entry »
Free e-Cover Creator
There comes a time for every Internet Marketer when we need some sort of e-cover. Perhaps it’s for a product you’ve created or maybe for a piece of PLR which you have re-branded and made your own.
But how do you create an e-cover which will do justice to your new product?
Well, there are a few ways, the first is to outsource the design and creation to a graphic artist. You should be able to locate one at Elance.com But be prepared to pay quite highly for this service. Note: If you’re product is going to be a major release or a high ticket item, then this is the way to go, Don’t bother trying to do your own, spend the money. You could even contact Sean Lowery, he creates covers for the biggest names in Internet Marketing.
If you are on a budget or are just knocking out a quick viral freebie or list builder then hiring a graphic designer is probably not the right path to choose, so why not create your own e-cover? Read the rest of this entry »
