There comes a time for every Internet Marketer when we need some sort of e-cover.  Perhaps it’s for a product you’ve created or maybe for a piece of PLR which you have re-branded and made your own.

But how do you create an e-cover which will do justice to your new product?

Well, there are a few ways, the first is to outsource the design and creation to a graphic artist.  You should be able to locate one at Elance.com But be prepared to pay quite highly for this service.  Note: If you’re product is going to be a major release or a high ticket item, then this is the way to go,  Don’t bother trying to do your own, spend the money.  You could even contact Sean Lowery, he creates covers for the biggest names in Internet Marketing.

If you are on a budget or are just knocking out a quick viral freebie or list builder then hiring a graphic designer is probably not the right path to choose, so why not create your own e-cover? Read the rest of this entry »

I found a great site which allows you to easily add your own link to other people’s videos on YouTube. You can then get the embed code and add the video, complete with your own link to a website or blog.

The site is called LinkedTube and you can get to it here… http://www.linkedtube.com/

It is really simple to use, and more importantly… It works!

I added the ‘Real Review’ text and the button that says ‘More Info’.

There are times when you need to include a video on your site.  Now while it is simple enough to embed a Youtube video onto your page sometimes the video you want isn’t on youtube, or maybe it’s one of your own videos that your don’t want to make available to casual browsers.

That’s when FLV plugin from Jeroen comes in handy.

You just download and activate the plugin, then insert a simple shortcode wherever you want the video to appear.

This plugin uses one universal, standard tag style:

• url – the URL of the FLV file you want to embed, the path can either be site-relative or absolute
• width – width of the FLV movie
• height – height of the FLV movie

Jeroen’s FLV Player supports poster frame, ie. a front cover for the video.  This can be any image you want and can even be uploaded to a different location. By default the poster frame is set to off, you turn it on via the options in the plugin settings.

In order to use this poster frame feature, you will need to turn it on via options. Once turned on, the player will look for preview image that share the same filename as the embedded FLV file. For example, if your embedded FLV file is “demo.flv”, the player will display “demo.jpg” as preview image. By default, the filetype of preview image is “jpg”, but this can be changed via options.

I was looking to insert some nice text into a web site I’m working on.  But all of the tools I have to create text with impact are, to be frank, a pain in the butt to use.  They are all great, but for a quick one off graphic it takes forever.

So I did a quick search of the free online graphics tools and found this:

Which has just blown me away.  It is simple to use yet powerful and the best part is that it is totally free!
